Okay I will jump right in,
Mathematically it should be impossible to make a profit from binary options as the time frame is so short to know with any confidence at all whether the price for anything will go up or down, and your mathematical expectation is exactly 50% - then we factor in that your return is less than 100% of the amount you make because the sites take some back.
So why is there such a big community around this and am I missing something?
I'd appreciate a no-bullshit answer, and thank you for your time.

I trade FOREX and Bins and some of my scalps last like 30 seconds so the time frame really has nothing to do with it, its more about trading a time frame that you can process all the info on the chart to make an educated decision.
