Signal Hive Performance Updates

Hello everyone!

A Hive performance update follows for the week commencing the 30th of May, 2016:

Signal Hive battled through a tough entry into Brexit month, generating just 63% ITM on 104 signals last week. Bots outperformed generating 71% ITM on 41 signals and humans had more mixed performance, generating just 59% ITM on 63 signals. Peak, Turbo and Dive led the pack generating 20 signals amongst them with a cumulative ITM of 85%. While Pulse managed to generate 60% on 5 signals, Curve (57% with 7), Wave (50% with 6) and Core (33% with just 3 signals), all produced lack lustre performance.

Overall on an ER basis, which tracks immediate replications on auto-trading mode on Hive Hybrid; bots generated 22-17, 56% ITM. ER leaders were Peak, 2-0 100% ITM and Wave 60% ITM, 3-2.

Humans saw HAL 9000, Iris and Dr. Planter dominate with 4 signals (75% ITM), 4 signals (75% ITM) and 1 signal (100% ITM), respectively. Sake generated 71% on 24 signals. Tiki, Desert Rain and Opportunist underperformed generating 30-50% ITM on a cumulative 28 signals. Alpha1 failed on both EOD attempts, generating 0-2.

Overall on an ER basis, which tracks immediate replications on auto-trading mode on Hive Hybrid; humans generated 50% ITM, 20-20. The ER leader was Iris, once again, with 3-1, 75% ITM.

Hello everyone!

Here is a general update on Hybrid and Hawkeye since launch in mid-January.

Since Hive Hybrid Launched, the plugin which allows auto-trading of Signal Hive into Binary.com user accounts, the following Robotic streams have generated acceptable levels of profitability:
Curve: 59%, 146 signals.
Core, 63.5%, 85 signals.
Peak, 61%, 70 signals.
Dive, 69%, 65 signals.
The above is on ER mode, instant replication.

As for humans, the data is as follows:
Sake: 61%, 182 signals.
Iris: 65%, 65 signals
The above, is on ER mode, instant replication.

Now looking into Hawkeye, the risk management system that selectively ignores certain signals into Binary.com accounts, for users auto-trading them (FAT mode), the following humans have generated acceptable levels of profitability since Hive Hybrid launched:

Tiki: 62%, 100 signals (Hawkeye setting: MR)
Opportunist: 75%, 24 signals (Hawkeye setting: VLR)
Wolfpack: 65%, 23 signals (Hawkeye setting: MR)

A Hive performance update follows for the week commencing the 6th of June, 2016:

Signal Hive outperformed through a tough Brexit month and generated 62% ITM on 103 signals last week. Bots outperformed significantly, generating 69% on 39 signals, whereas humans produced a more mixed picture, generating 58% on 64 signals. On an ER basis, which reflects auto trading results of clients using Hive Hybrid, bots generated 59% with leaders being Dive at 75%, Core 67% and Pulse 67%. As for humans, they generated 57% with leaders being Sake, generating 80% on 15 auto-traded signals and HAL, also 80%, on 5 auto-traded signals. Desert Rain also deserves mention, generating 60% on 5 signals.

On House Settings for Hybrid auto trading, which uses the Hawkeye risk management system, bots generated: 65% on 20 signals. Humans generated 75% on 24 signals, resulting in House Settings delivering a cumulative 70% ITM on 44 signals, thereby outperforming Hive overall.

As for the month overall so far, House Settings have delivered 70% ITM on 30 robotic signals and 75% on 36 human signals, overall, resulting in total performance of 73% ITM on 66 signals. This compares to Hive manual results of just 65% ITM on 150 signals.

Hello Everyone,

Here is an update on the signalhive performance for June 2016:

Signal Hive profitably navigated the dangerous 'Brexit' month of June generating 63% on 482 signals.

Robots outperformed Humans, generating 66% on 180 signals. Humans generated 61% on 302 signals. In Hybrid auto-trade mode (FAT- ER), Robots, generated a 59% win-rate on 159 signals, while Humans clocked just 55% on 232 signals.

The leading Robots of the month (FAT-ER) were Dive with 68% on 19 signals and Pulse, 61% on 33 signals. The leading Humans of the month (FAT-ER) were Wolfpack who clocked 83% on just 6 signals, Mr. Sake where both his normal signals (37 signals, 73% ITM) and 5 minute turbos (29 signals, 66% ITM), were profitable and finally the EOD artist, HAL 9000, who generated 67% ITM on 12 signals.

As for House Settings for Hybrid auto-trading, Robots broke even with 58% on 92 signals, however Humans outperformed, generating 66% on 98 signals, resulting in House Settings outperforming Signal Hive, by generating 62% on 190 signals.

Hello traders,

As you are aware, Binary.com decided to abruptly remove 20pm-midnight trading this week for a period, which we believe will last 4-8 weeks (after which they claim they will introduce a new pricing feed), thereby disrupting the highly profitable Sake Turbo, Dive and Mr. Sake signal streams for auto-trading/Hybrid purposes for Hive clients, in the interim. They claimed that the conditions for trading, specifically 21pm GMT-22pm GMT became too "easy" for clients to exploit.

However, within 24 hours of this decision, at the request of Binary.com management, this morning we have had a discussion with their team about the decision and they are now re-thinking it as presumably the backlash from their user base has been fierce. We have proposed slightly lower payouts (yet profitable) and a cap on trade sizes during the 20pm-midnight trading period in return for them making all pairs available again so that trading of Dive, Sake Turbo and Sake can resume once again.

They have tentatively agreed, however, we will wait to hear in writing. As you know we always operate on the "glass-is-half-empty" assumption and so from our side we are already making the necessary permanent changes. These are

a) mr. sake will be expanding his Sake Turbo to hours outside the night time; the tests show a solid win rate of c. 80% with around 24 signals per month (so far this variant of his Turbo was not live);

b) we are most likely going to be moving Wave to ER mode as it has done well after re-engineering 2 months ago.

c) we are testing a new signal that trades outside the night time with solid win rates and shows good ER win rates in testing.

In the event Binary.com does not come back with a favourable price feed during the estimated 4-8 week window we provided yesterday or after today's discussion, refuses to make good on what we tentatively agreed re: re-opening the 20pm-midnight time frame for trading, then measures a, b and c mentioned above will likely compensate for the Binary.com restriction.

Our efforts to integrate with other brokers continue unabated in the interim.
