PowerOption is shutting down this month, we are not sure why. If you have an account with them you are best advised to withdraw your balance immediately!

nonetheless the email that went out says they are closing for business, and this affects new and current deposits as well as affiliates.

I think this has more to do with the immense competition amongst binary options brokers rather than a change of ownership

Actually I am mistaken. They recently changed their affiliate platform but they are in fact going out of business for good now.
