MT4 market replay

So I'm working on a BO strategy using MT4 right now. I was wondering, is there some way I can replay the market so I can test my strategy using a simulated market rather than a live one? I read something online about Expert Advisor but I can't fathom how to do a specific market replay in it.

    I don't know about that but... back testing usually involves going back over the historical data manually to look for setups that meet your strategy criteria, and then look to see what happens after ...when I do this I always count how many candles it takes for a signal to become profitable, and then use an average of that as my target expiry. But be careful, back testing helps but it is no golden goose, the market is always changing
