As the title suggests, was wondering what is the best, easiest, cheapest and most reliable way of installing MT4 on a mac?
Any advice appreciated.
Also, is MT4 the one to go for as i did hear there was an MT5.
Thanks and keep up the good work - this is a great site

Yeah, it's already explained on their official website. Go there and read:
http://www.metatrader4.com/
If there isn't a way then i guess i can try it through the playonmac route though.
Cheers
I am having problems installing this - getting the same problems as this chap was = https://forum.mql4.com/71557
Any ideas?
Will i be able to use meta5 as easy? i am a noob and was following your videos Okane, not sure i want to start trying to emulate you while using different software. Should i look elsewhere so i can try and install meta4?
thanks
If i download mt4 from say, this website here:
http://www.thinkforex.com/uk/trading-platforms/metatrader-4/mt4-mac
or here:
https://www.gomarkets.co.uk/trading-platforms/metatrader-4/metatrader-4-mac/index.html
will this somehow bias the view i will get because i have downloaded it via a broker? Or will i just have an option to log into another broker when the application loads and then this will still work fine?
Im just having a nightmare getting the MT4 application to load through the playonmac / wine method.
Someone please help - i am going mad!!
They are pretty much the same. Why most people use MT4 is because most
strategies and lots of custom indies are created for MT4. But since you say you wish to trade
price action trading like me then all you need is candlesticks and the ability to draw lines + stochastic which is
an standard indicator so no need for MT4 and custom indies anyway!
Many thanks for all the advice and your videos - they are really good.
a price action strategy thread in the strategy room check it out for more info
