Sorry to hear about this. It may simply be a temporary glitch. There is a lot of cross-broker warfare in the form of DDOS attacks that sometimes can take down servers. Having said that, we would advise you to research your brokers a bit more carefully. Please take a look at this http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-reviews/11128/www.binaryinternational.com

I went to try and login to my account a few hours ago but the website is down
Based on their low traffic and based on what I know from them (they don't even pay their own staff) I am pretty sure they are shutting down. Many bucketshop brokers are closing - which is just great for the industry.

Would there be any way to get my money back?
I doubt a broker that doesn't pay their own staff wants to pay customers and their site is down so you can't even talk to their chat so I don't think so.

Hello Flinty13,
If you have deposited using a credit card, a chargeback may work.

Is there a time limit on chargebacks?
Hello,
Typically 6 months or slightly less. Contact your bank and credit card issuer immediately.
Very sorry to hear your situation with Binary International.. Just use this moment as the Live experience for your Forex /Binary trading.. True, some of us will become victims of these irresponsible brokers which initially are performing well but then something happened to them and run away with Clients money.. Personally I believe on KARMA, so what they did is what they get in just matter of time..
As per BSB suggestion to contact your credit card issuer will not be a solution.. As my experience, they can not do anything to charge back the merchant (In this case Binary International) in any cases eventhough we mentioned that the merchants run away with the money.. Since in this case, we clearly realized that we agreed to make the payment as the deposit into our Live account and have traded with that money.. So the only way is just, Binary International returns the money which is impossible..
So my suggestion just embrace this, do not give up.. Just find any other good Binary Brokers out there.. Start again with the small money and try their deposit-withdraw process for a while till you get comfort then you may increase into bigger value.. Good Luck..
I think there's no reason to panic, who know, maybe the site's under construction. Perhaps you should wait a little while, or try to find out more about the problem.
It could be some kind of temporary technical failure that affected the terminal as a whole. It happens very rarely, but still happens, especially if there are many users. Perhaps the server just couldn't take it. On the other hand, it can be a cause for concern because if it happens frequently, it can be a warning sign for you. Still, how a broker works and the trading terminal itself depends on your security and your freedom of action in the market. So, in any case, for you to work safely, a broker must be evaluated by these parameters as well. If something like this still happens, you should immediately contact the technical support of the company, because they must react to such situations as quickly as possible.
