Support and Resistance Strategy

Hi Guys, I was talking to a professional trader recently who apparently uses nothing more than the "Support and Resistance" strategy. Unfortunately we lost communication before he really got the chance to explain the foundations of this. Anyone heard or familiar with this enough to explain it to me please? Thanks in advance.
