New trader with medium experience.

Hi all.

Im happy to join this community.
Ive been trading for a year and a half, I started with the Green Room Academy which is a facebook group.
I have medium experience with binary options. I won money but also lost money.
My goal is to learn as much as possible, and keep practising on my demo account ( I use a demo account from Spotoption)
I want to reach a certain amount of money with my demo account before going live again.

My advice to new guys is to practise as much as possible, even when you think you're ready just keep on practising ;)

Now... Lets all be succesfull !

Are green room not just a bunch of marketers ? .."Green room" and "Lost money" are pretty much a good part of your post ..
  • At the end most of them turn out to be marketers. They dont do any more live session nor do they come up with new strategies/information because
one of the guys said it was illegal to have such a community where binary options are being taught to others. Apparently it came on the news he said.. whatsoever.. Dont know if thats completely true.
They stopped running the green room, although all the content is still online to watch.
Now I dont hear anything from them anymore.

but yea they actually are marketers with basic trading skills

Its not illegal lol... They just are not making money trading and that gets them no new business so after the HYPE/MARKETING they disappear into the gutters where they belong. A real trader doing this day in and day out is rare and all these marketers if they dare try at some point will lose their sh*t like most people and gamble away their accounts quickly aka the UOP/Reginald Stinson. Guy lost his account and then tried to get Goptions to pay him what was left in bonus money then called them a scam when the denied his withdrawal. Even if they were a scam he was trying to scam them... *smacks self in head laughing so hard...

Its the same with online casinos .People self exclude themselfs ..They then go onto gamble more and try and get the casino to pay ...Feckin crazy ,what i didn't like was 24 options insisted i deposit etc ,so i did they wouldn't let me trade because i was not verified ...Then they said In fact feel free to trade ..Wel i was not planning using the account and i made one of the most silliest mistakes ever (laugh at me now) i signed into my real account in between demo and thought i was on demo account ..So im putting £50 trades on for 30 seconds ,i clicked after i had spent half of the £250 and felt like Michael freemans boyfriend ..I couldn't believe i had traded real money thinking/mucking about demo wise ..Still not verified ..And still got to trade away ..I feel i should be aloud my deposit back for my sillyness :D ..But on a serious note say i dont verify tell them im not 18 will they refund me ?

The only thing that appeals me is your good advise to new comers i.e., practice as much as possible otherwise all the investments can blew off within 60 seconds. Demo accounts should be practice for at least 6 months or more before making live trades and instead of relying on marketers and those claiming to help you making money it is necessary that we should make some research at our own. I know it will be time consuming but can be very helpful in future.

Yes, I agree demo account is great for starting trading. It helps you learn more about the trading itself and it prepares you in some way for the real trading. But, then again, it's never the same when you trade with real money and with virtual money, right? :D

Demo is ok to prove or test a hypothesis 99.9 percent of systems people try are just a hypothesis, now once you prove that then move on to theory and do it live and make it work.

In scientific language, a "theory" is already believed to be correct- a "hypothesis" still needs to be proven. Once there is evidence to support a hypothesis, it becomes a "theory". This sometimes leads to confusion as in layman's terms, a theory is usually considered to be unproven.

Anyway, to "prove" a theory correct, here's what you need to do:

    * First, you need to find some evidence that supports it, usually through live trading.

Suppose you wanted to prove that a new system was effective at trading the 5M chart. What you'd do is get some people trading 5M, and give them the strategy, and for fun give others a version without one indicator. If the people without the missing indicator do better, while the others do not, then you'd be able to say that the strategy is effective. If neither group got better, then the strategy is not effective. Likewise, if both groups get better, then the strategy isn't effective either.
